Terms of Service
Clear rules. No fine-print surprises. These terms explain how you can use our website and how we work together.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of consultingtable.com (the "Website") and any services provided by Consulting Table ("Consulting Table", "we", "us" or "our"). Please read them carefully. By using the Website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
Acceptance Of Terms
By accessing the Website, submitting a form, subscribing to our newsletter or engaging us for any service, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement.
- If you act on behalf of a company, you have the authority to bind that company to these Terms.
- You have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or our services.
About Consulting Table
Consulting Table is a B2B revenue consulting firm based in Mohali, Punjab, India. We work with founders and CXOs to diagnose and fix marketing and sales systems — through diagnosis, design, build, execution and optimisation.
Use Of The Website
You may use the Website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- Copy, republish or sell content from the Website without our written permission.
- Submit false, misleading or spam information through our forms.
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Website or its systems.
- Use bots, scrapers or automated tools to collect data from the Website.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware or any harmful code.
- Use the Website in any way that breaks applicable law or infringes the rights of others.
Content on the Website — including insights, articles and case studies — is for general information only. It is not tailored advice for your business and should not be relied on as such.
Our Services
We offer marketing and sales consulting, implementation and related services. The exact scope, timelines, deliverables and fees for any engagement will be set out in a separate proposal, statement of work or service agreement ("Engagement Agreement").
- If an Engagement Agreement conflicts with these Terms, the Engagement Agreement will prevail for that engagement.
- We work alongside your team, not in place of it. Final business decisions remain yours.
- We may use qualified team members, partners or subcontractors to deliver services, and we remain responsible for their work.
- We may use AI tools to support our work, applied with human judgement and in line with our confidentiality obligations.
Revenue Diagnostic
The Revenue Diagnostic is a 2–3 day engagement with your leadership team. It includes an audit of your marketing and sales system and a prioritised roadmap.
- The Diagnostic is a standalone engagement. Completing it does not commit you to any further work with us.
- We do not require long-term contracts. Any follow-on work is agreed separately.
- The roadmap is based on the information and access you provide. Its quality depends on the accuracy and completeness of that information.
Fees & Payments
Your first conversation with us is free. Fees for paid services are set out in your Engagement Agreement. Unless agreed otherwise:
- Invoices are payable within the time stated on the invoice.
- Fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, including GST, which will be added where required.
- Approved third-party costs (such as software, advertising spend or tools) are billed separately or paid directly by you.
- We may pause work if invoices remain unpaid past their due date.
- Fees for work already completed are non-refundable.
Client Responsibilities
Our approach works best when we are embedded with your team. To make that possible, you agree to:
- Give timely access to the people, data, systems and tools we need.
- Provide accurate and complete information.
- Make sure you have the right to share any data, including customer personal data, with us.
- Review deliverables and give feedback within agreed timeframes.
- Assign a point of contact with the authority to make decisions.
Delays caused by missing access, information or decisions may affect timelines and outcomes.
Confidentiality
Both parties will keep each other's confidential information private and use it only for the purpose of the engagement. This includes business plans, pipeline and CRM data, financials, pricing, strategies and customer information.
This obligation does not apply to information that is already public, independently developed, lawfully received from someone else, or required to be disclosed by law. Confidentiality obligations continue after the engagement ends.
We will not name you as a client or publish your results without your permission. Case studies on the Website are shared with client consent or in anonymised form.
Intellectual Property
Website content
All content on the Website — including text, graphics, logos, case studies, articles and design — belongs to Consulting Table or its licensors. It is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may share links to our content, but you may not reproduce it without written permission.
Client deliverables
- Once fees are paid in full, you own the final deliverables created specifically for you, unless the Engagement Agreement says otherwise.
- We keep ownership of our pre-existing methods, frameworks, templates, tools and know-how. You receive a licence to use them as part of your deliverables, for your internal business purposes.
- Your own materials, data and brand assets always remain yours.
No Guarantee Of Results
We are committed to results and stay engaged until the system works. However, revenue outcomes depend on many factors outside our control — including market conditions, your product, pricing, team performance and how recommendations are implemented.
Results shown on the Website, including figures in case studies, reflect past client outcomes. They are not a promise or guarantee of similar results for your business.
Limitation Of Liability
The Website is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will always be available, error-free or free from viruses.
To the maximum extent allowed by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses — including loss of profits, revenue, data or business opportunities.
- Our total liability for any claim relating to an engagement is limited to the fees you paid us for that engagement in the 3 months before the claim arose.
- Our total liability for any claim relating only to use of the Website is limited to INR 10,000.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, such as liability for fraud.
Indemnity
You agree to protect and compensate Consulting Table, its founder, team members and partners against any claims, losses or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Website, or data or materials you provide that infringe the rights of others or break the law.
Termination
- We may suspend or block access to the Website for anyone who breaks these Terms.
- Either party may end an engagement as set out in the Engagement Agreement. If none is stated, either party may end it with 30 days' written notice.
- On termination, you pay for all work completed up to the termination date, and we hand over completed deliverables.
- Sections on confidentiality, intellectual property, liability, indemnity and governing law continue to apply after termination.
Third-Party Links & Tools
The Website may link to third-party websites such as LinkedIn. During engagements, we may also recommend or use third-party software (for example CRM, marketing automation or analytics tools). These third parties have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content, availability or performance.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
- We will first try to resolve any dispute through good-faith discussion within 30 days of written notice.
- If not resolved, the dispute will be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat of arbitration will be Mohali, Punjab, and proceedings will be in English.
- Subject to the above, the courts at Mohali, Punjab will have exclusive jurisdiction.
General Terms
- Changes: We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. Continued use of the Website means you accept the updated Terms.
- Force majeure: Neither party is responsible for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as natural disasters, outages or government action.
- Severability: If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest remains in effect.
- No waiver: Not enforcing a right does not mean we give it up.
- Assignment: You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent.
- Entire agreement: These Terms, our Privacy Policy and any Engagement Agreement form the complete agreement between us.
